Police Report: Sept. 17

1A 20-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting at Sendik's, N112 W15800 Mequon Road, at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 10.

2Wooden skids were taken from the back of the building at Calf-Tel, W194 N11551 McCormick Drive, at noon Sept. 9. The suspect vehicle is a white van. Police are following up with the business owner regarding the amount of skids taken and their value.

3A 45-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting after she was seen concealing merchandise at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 12:50 a.m. Sept. 11.

4A purse was taken out of a locked minivan in the W159 N9900 block of Butternut Road prior to 8:20 p.m. Sept. 11. A window was smashed for access.

5A blue, 23-inch bicycle was taken from a porch in the W158 N11000 block of Legend Avenue prior to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 11.

6A purse was taken from a vehicle in the W175 N11100 block of Stonewood Drive prior to 10:40 a.m. Sept. 12.

7A 46-year-old man was arrested for theft, bail jumping, and for having two outstanding warrants with the Menomonee Falls Police Department after he left without paying for his meal at George Webb, N112 W15800 Mequon Road, shortly after midnight Sept. 13.

8An unidentified woman shoplifted two TV sets at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 7 p.m. Sept. 14. The suspect, a white female, was last seen driving a blue Ford F150 truck. Police are investigating.

9A resident reported three vehicles were broken into while they were parked in his driveway in the W196 N11200 block of Shadow Wood Lane prior to 9:10 a.m. Sept. 15. The police log did not list the items stolen from the vehicles.


10A 41-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Country Aire Drive and Mequon Road at 11:25 p.m. Sept. 9.

11A 24-year-old man was arrested for possession of synthetic marijuana, drug paraphernalia and probation violations after his father called police to report he was under the influence of drugs and behaving irrationally at a residence in the N114 W15300 block of Gettysburg Drive at 3:50 a.m. Sept. 15.


12A 23-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after he caused a disturbance and vomited all over the bar at Barley Pop Pub, N116 W16137 Main St., at 1:30 a.m. Sept. 15. The suspect , who was last seen leaving the parking lot on a green motorcycle, was stopped by police in front of Bub's Irish Pub. His preliminary blood alcohol content was unavailable at the time of the report.


13A 19-year-old woman was arrested for violating absolute sobriety after she called police to report her car was being followed by a vehicle from the Richfield area to Buzdum's Pub, W188 N10515 Maple Road, at 11:50 p.m. Sept. 10. A 19-year-old female passenger in her car was also cited for underage drinking.

14An employee at McDonald's, N112 W15936 Mequon Road, called to report the occupants of a Toyota Camry came through the drive-through four times, ordered food, then threw the food back at the employees at 10:45 p.m. Sept. 12. An officer located the vehicle and spoke with the driver, a 20-year-old man, and advised him not to go back to the restaurant.

15A 37-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct and bail jumping after she refused to leave the Sheer Lounge, N112 W16560 Mequon Road, at 2:20 a.m. Sept. 13.

16A 42-year-old man was arrested for a weapons violation after an officer noticed a switchblade knife in the cab of his truck during a routine traffic stop on U.S. Highway 41 and County Line Road at 12:45 a.m. Sept. 14.

17An employee called police after an extremely intoxicated man riding a bicycle attempted to obtain food through the drive-through at McDonald's, N112 W15936 Mequon Road, at 11:45 p.m. Sept. 14. An officer located the subject, a 27-year-old man, at George Webb and advised him of the complaint.

18Officers responded to loud, banging sounds coming from Robert's Frozen Custard, N112 W16040 Mequon Road, shortly after midnight Sept. 15. When officers arrived they found an employee hitting a trash bin with a metal tool to scare away raccoons.

Germantown police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with 20 rescue calls and one fire call between Sept. 9 and Sept. 15.
