Police Report: May 20

1A property owner reported a garage on his property in the N124 W18100 block of Lovers Lane was broken into between 1 and 9 a.m. May 14. Officers questioned the current property resident, who stated he did not find anything missing from the garage.


2A 39-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 1:40 p.m. May 14. The suspect complained of high blood sugar while in custody and was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital by Germantown Rescue, then taken to the Washington County Jail after being medically cleared.

3A 45-year-old man was arrested for fraud after he left without paying his tab at Barley Pop Pub, N116 W16137 Main St., at 11:15 p.m. May 15. He was also taken into custody for bail jumping.

4The front license plate was stolen off a vehicle in the parking lot at Cracker Barrel, W176 N9778 Rivercrest Drive, on May 15.

5A man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing merchandise at Pick 'n Save, N112 W16200 Mequon Road, at 4:20 p.m. May 16.


6A man called police after he was allegedly struck in the face by a male subject driving a black Lexus during a road rage incident on Maple Road and Cedar Lane at 3:10 p.m. May 18.


7A Germantown man was arrested for drunken driving after a caller reported a driver crossing over the center line, then followed the driver to Kwik Trip, W188 N10963 Maple Road, at about 8 p.m. May 13. He was taken to the hospital for a blood test, the results of which were unavailable.

8A man was arrested for drunken driving after a one-vehicle accident on Division Road and Fond du Lac Avenue at 2:05 am. May 17. The driver was transported to Community Memorial Hospital with a head injury and was taken into custody after he was medically cleared. His blood alcohol content was unavailable.


9An employee reported finding a small caliber handgun in the trash at Waste Management, W132 N10487 Grant Drive, at 7:35 p.m. May 13.

10A resident in the N136 W143000 block of Bonniwell Road reported his neighbor's dog attacked his rooster at 7:45 p.m. May 13. The owner of the dog was warned about allowing his dog to roam at large.

11Police responded to a report of a large turtle in the street on Freistadt Road and River Lane at 10:50 a.m. May 14. The turtle was pushed into the ditch so that regular traffic could resume.

12A resident in the W143 N9600 block of Amber Drive called police after she found a yellow and black snake in her front yard at 11:55 a.m. May 15. Upon arrival, the responding officer observed a large grass snake, about 21/2 to 3 feet in length, disappear under a group of bushes. The officer advised the resident to call an exterminator or purchase snake repellent.

13A 51-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after she became intoxicated and created a disturbance on a Riteway Bus at the Lannon Road Park 'n Ride, W195 N10653 Lannon Road, at 4:25 p.m. May 16.

· Germantown police assisted with 16 rescue calls and two fire calls between May 13 and May 18.


14The Germantown Fire Department and police responded to a report of a fire in an electrical box at Panda Express, N96 W17698 County Line Road, at 2:35 p.m. May 16. The small fire was located in the fire protection system and no other damages were reported. The restaurant was advised they could not reopen until a technician repaired the system.
