Police Report: July 9

1A customer's car was broken into while parked at the Holiday Inn Express, W177-N9675 Riversbend Lane, in the early morning hours of July 2. A list of items taken from the car was unavailable at the time of the report.

2A camera was stolen from a residence in the W216-N11300 block of Appleton Avenue prior to 12:20 p.m. July 2.

3A concrete saw was stolen from a truck in the parking lot at Walmart, W190-N9855 Appleton Ave., prior to 1:15 p.m. July 2. The thief left in a blue Lexus.

4The driver of a red Chevy two-door car left Speedway, W178-N9653 Riversbend Lane, without paying for $43 worth of gas at 3:30 p.m. July 2.


5A 38-year-old man suffered a cut lip and loose teeth after being assaulted by a 54-year-old man at Kuhburg Junction, W140-N10385 Fond du Lac Ave., just before 10 p.m. July 4.

6Two unidentified men stole an air-conditioning unit from Menards, W186-N9754 Appleton Ave., at 3:30 p.m. July 5. The men ran from Menards staff and left the parking lot in a white Kia Spectra.


7A 46-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving on Highway 41 North at Lannon Road at 5:25 p.m. July 1. His blood-alcohol content was unavailable.

8A 33-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving and driving without a license on Highway 41 at Holy Hill Road at 10:15 p.m. July 3. His BAC was unavailable.

9A 24-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, in the N120-W19100 block of Freistadt Road at 2 a.m. July 5. His BAC was unavailable.


10An 80-year-old man and a 78-year-old woman, both of Lannon, were taken to the hospital after their car was struck by a driver who ran a red light at County Line and Maple roads at 6:53 p.m. June 26. The driver of the striking vehicle, a 70-year-old Hubertus man, was cited for failure to obey a traffic signal.


11A 23-year-old man was cited for igniting fireworks in the N109-W16400 block of Hawthorne Drive at 9:40 p.m. July 3.

12A woman was struck in the face by a woman she didn't know while sitting in traffic at Appleton Avenue and County Line Road at 4:10 p.m. July 5. The victim said the other woman exited her vehicle, a silver Hyundai Tiburon, struck her in the face and then returned to her car and fled south on Shady Lane.

Germantown police assisted with 10 rescue calls and one fire call between July 1 and July 6.
