1A guitar, prescription medications and an undisclosed amount of money was stolen from a vehicle parked at the Park 'n Ride, W195 N10653 Lannon Road, on Jan. 6. The report did not state whether the vehicle was locked or unlocked or how entry was gained.

2An unknown woman left without paying for her $40 manicure at AK Nails, W182 N9606 Appleton Ave., at 12:50 p.m. Jan. 11. The suspect, a female in her mid-40s, left the lot in a maroon Chevy convertible.

3A GPS unit was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in the W215 N10100 block of Hickory Drive between the late evening hours of Jan. 11 and early morning hours of Jan. 12.

4A resident in the W215 N10000 block of Hickory Drive called police at 8:30 a.m. Jan. 12 to report that personal items were stolen from three vehicles that were parked in her garage between the late evening hours of Jan. 11 and early morning hours of Jan. 12. The report did not state whether the garage and vehicles were locked or unlocked at the time of the incident.

5A 25-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting an undisclosed amount of merchandise at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at 2:15 p.m. Jan. 12.

6A 57-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing merchandise at Menards, W186 N9754 Appleton Ave., at 3:55 p.m. Jan. 12.

7An undisclosed amount of personal items was taken out of two unlocked vehicles parked at a residence in the W214 N10400 block of Oak Lane before 6:40 p.m. Jan. 12.


8A 51-year-old woman and a 39-year-old woman were transported to Community Memorial Hospital after the cars they were riding in collided on U.S. Highway 41 and County Line Road at 11:05 p.m. Jan. 12. The driver of one of the vehicles, a 35-year-old man, was also transported to the hospital for a legal blood draw and was released.


9A 26-year-old man was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon after police found brass knuckles on him during a traffic stop on County Line Road and Maple Road at 6:50 p.m. Jan. 6.

10A resident in the W168 N11400 block of El Camino Drive called police to report several juveniles throwing soda bottles and ringing doorbells in the area at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 11. Upon arrival an officer found the bottles were baking soda bombs and he also located a bottle that had yet to explode. An extra patrol in the area was requested.

Germantown police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with 14 rescue calls between Jan. 6 and Jan. 13.
