Police Report: Feb. 4

1Two men attempted to shoplift two video game systems at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at about 2:25 p.m. Jan. 27. Employees recovered the merchandise before the men fled the lot. The suspects, described as a 70-year-old male wearing glasses and using a metal cane and his son, a 40-year-old male wearing a white plaid jacket and a Packers baseball cap, fled in a gray Mitsubishi Galant bearing stolen license plates.

2An unknown man shoplifted a duffle bag full of merchandise at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 9:35 a.m. Jan. 30. The man dropped the merchandise in the parking lot before fleeing in a gray Saturn.

3A 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were arrested for shoplifting after they took merchandise off the shelves and attempted to return it for cash at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at 4:40 p.m. Jan. 30.


4A 25-year-old woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and was taken into custody after police discovered she had three open warrants through the Hartford Police Department during a traffic stop on North U.S. Highway 41 and Holy Hill Road at 10:55 p.m. Jan. 26.

5Officers responding to a report of exotic dancers/strippers performing on the second floor at Buzdum's Pub, W188 N10515 Maple Road, arrested a 23-year-old woman for having an open warrant through the Nekoosa Police Department at about 10 p.m. Jan. 29. The police log did not state whether or not the business was cited for a license violation.


6Firefighters and police responded to a chimney fire at a residence in the W144 N10700 block of Lincoln Drive at about 6:15 p.m. Jan. 27. The smoke was caused by a newspaper that got caught in the flue and caused the smoke not to ventilate from the home. The Germantown Fire Department removed the newspaper from the chimney and no structural damage was reported.

Germantown police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with 21 rescue calls and one fire call between Jan. 26 and Feb. 2.
