Police Report: Dec. 3

1An unknown suspect(s) cut the cables of a plow assembly off a Chevy truck parked in the N117 W19200 block of Fulton Drive during an apparent theft attempt before 2:11 p.m. Nov. 25. The suspect(s) were unsuccessful in removing the whole plow.

2A skid steer was stolen from L.T. Hampel Corp., W194 N11551 McCormick Drive, on Nov. 25.

3A rented skid steer was reported stolen from a construction site at Washington and Ellsworth drives at 10:15 a.m. Nov. 26.

4A video gaming system was stolen from a residence in the N104 W16100 block of Donges Bay Road before 7:26 p.m. Nov. 26. Police are questioning the suspect, who was arrested on Nov. 25 for an armed burglary in Greenfield.

5The owner of Gromax Precision, W185 N11474 Whitney Drive, reported the theft of scrap metal shortly after 10 a.m. Nov. 27.

6A resident in the N106 W15700 block of Creek Terrace reported the theft of approximately 20 checks, which were forged and cashed to obtain $9,400 shortly after 1 p.m. Nov. 27.

7An unknown male shoplifted a gold disc at Hobby Town, W182 N9606 Appleton Ave., around 8:45 p.m. Nov. 28. The theft was captured on video.


8Officers responding to a report of a fight between a father and daughter at an apartment in the W156 N11500 block of Pilgrim Road arrested a 44-year-old man for battery to a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at 2:15 a.m. Nov. 30.


9A resident in the N113 W16900 block of Driftwood Court reported his Christmas lights were torn down between the evening hours of Nov. 30 and early morning hours of Dec. 1. The lights were not damaged by the vandalism.

10Two mailboxes were struck and knocked over in the N98 W17200 block of Dotty Way between 4 and 5:30 p.m. Nov. 30. An extra watch was requested in the area.


11Germantown police assisted Greenfield police by arresting a 26-year-old Germantown man in the N104 W16100 block of Donges Bay Road for an armed burglary that took place in Greenfield at 7:26 p.m. Nov. 25. The suspect was turned over to Greenfield police.

12An 18-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at Barley Pop Pub, N116 W16131 Main St., at 9:45 p.m. Dec. 1.


13Germantown police assisted firefighters after receiving a report of a vehicle that struck a deer and started on fire on North U.S. Highway 41 and Holy Hill Road at 12:30 a.m. Dec. 1. Officers cleared the vehicle of all occupants and provided traffic control until the fire could be extinguished. No injuries were reported.

14The Germantown Fire Department and police responded to a house fire in the N106 W16330 block of Fieldstone Pass at 5:37 p.m. Dec. 1. The fire started when the home was struck by lightning. No damage estimate was available at the time of the report.

Germantown police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with 13 rescue calls and three fire calls between Nov. 25 and Dec. 2.
