Police report: Dec. 16

1A 44-year-old man was arrested for employee theft and was taken into custody for having a valid warrant through the Germantown Police Department at Speedway, W164 N112233 Squire Drive, at about 11 a.m. Dec. 9.

2An unknown male subject shoplifted a computer at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., and then fled the lot in a green van with temporary license plates at about 11:35 a.m. Dec. 9.

3An employee called police after an unknown man left without paying for his meal at George Webb's, N112 W15800 Mequon Road, at about 1:20 p.m. Dec. 12. The suspect, described as a tall male with a cane, was last seen walking eastbound.


4A woman called police at about 5 p.m. Dec. 9 to report a school bus driver grabbed her 8-year-old son's arm as he got off the school bus in the W156 N10900 block of Catskill Lane, causing a bruise on the boy's arm. Police were investigating the complaint at the time of the report.


·Police responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on Knollwood Drive arrested a 24-year-old man for possession of marijuana and took him into custody for having a valid warrant for burglary/theft in Waukesha County at about 12:45 p.m. Dec. 10.


5A 36-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving, third offense, and operating after revocation on U.S. Highway 41 and County Line Road at 6:45 p.m. Dec. 9. His preliminary blood alcohol content was unavailable.


6A resident reported someone sprayed a fire extinguisher all over a hallway inside an apartment building in the W158 N11100 block of Legend Ave. at about 12:10 p.m. Dec. 10.


7An officer who stopped to assist a possible disabled motorist parked at the County Line BP, N96 W21962 County Line Road, arrested the driver, a 27–year-old man for possession of drug paraphernalia at about 1 a.m. Dec. 10.

· Germantown police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with 18 rescue calls and three fire calls between Dec. 8 and Dec. 15.


8The Germantown Fire Department and police responded to a fire call at an apartment building in the N114 W16000 block of Sylvan Circle at 6:45 a.m. Dec. 11. The fire was caused by a bathroom exhaust fan in an apartment unit and the building was cleared of smoke. No one was injured.
