Germantown Police Report: May 22

1A resident in the W213 N10200 block of Beech Drive called police to report a possible burglary after she discovered the front door of her residence and the rear service door to her garage were partly open after her husband returned home at about 12:15 a.m. May 11. The resident later found her wallet had been stolen out of her purse, and a special patrol of the area was requested.

2A caller reported a mobile water pump was stolen from his unlocked garden house on Pleasant View Drive and Rockfield Road at 11:25 a.m. May 12.

3A resident in the W172 N13300 block of Division Road reported someone entered his home through a broken basement window and stole a compressor at 4:30 p.m. May 12. The victim gave police the name of a possible suspect and they were following up at the time of the report.

4A resident in the N102 W17200 block of Lone Oaks Drive reported the front door had been forcibly opened and several pieces of jewelry were stolen from the residence at about 6:30 p.m. May 15.

5A caller reported a gas-powered post hole digger and a Dewalt radio were stolen from an unlocked pole building in the W140 N11800 block of Country Aire Drive at 10:20 a.m. May 16.


5A man was arrested for shoplifting an undisclosed amount of merchandise at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at 2:45 p.m. May 11.

6A 31-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing merchandise at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at about 4 p.m. May 12.

7A resident in the W156 N10900 block of Catskill Lane reported the theft of 140 Percocet pills from his vehicle at 1:45 p.m. May 13.

8A 45-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting a TV at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at about 1 p.m. May 15.

9An unknown male shoplifted two cartons of cigarettes at Speedway, W178 N9653 Riversbend Lane, at about 10:25 a.m. May 16. The suspect was described as a "scruffy" male in his 30s, wearing glasses.

10A manager reported two or three unknown males shoplifted a cell phone on display at Sprint, W182 N9606 Appleton Ave., at about 4:45 p.m. May 16.

Drug possession

11A 27-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and shoplifting at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line road at about 3:20 pm. May 14.

Drunken driving

12A 54-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving (fourth offense) on Division and Mequon roads at about 11:05 p.m. May 13. His preliminary blood alcohol content was unavailable.


13A resident in the W154 N10200 block of Regency Court reported the door on his phone box on his house was open and a wrench was left behind by an unknown person(s) at 9:40 a.m. May 11.

14A 50-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct after he was seen defecating outside a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer parked at the Germantown Park 'n Ride, W195 N10653 Lannon Road, at about 9:45 a.m. May 12.

15A juvenile male was issued a written warning for disorderly conduct after he left the cafeteria at Germantown High School, W180 N11501 River Lane, during a severe thunderstorm/flash flood warning, and then somersaulted and belly flopped into a water-filled ditch in front of the lunch room windows at about 1 p.m. May 12.

16Police investigating a report of a suspicious, occupied vehicle parked in the W143 N10600 block of Magnolia Drive took three male juveniles into custody after it was discovered the vehicle was reported stolen by the Portage Police Department and the juveniles inside were all listed as missing at about 6:40 a.m. May 15.

17A woman reported striking a turkey with her vehicle while driving in the N120 W19900 block of Freistadt road at about 8:20 a.m. May 15.

· Germantown police assisted with 19 rescue calls between May 9 and May 16.
