Germantown Police Report: July 17, 2014

July 15, 2014


1An employee reported an unknown person(s) stole an undisclosed amount of cash during a burglary at Bub's Irish Pub, N116 W16218 Main St., at about 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8. The employee said the video surveillance system, which was kept inside a locked locker, was turned off by the unknown suspect(s) and police are investigating.

2An unknown person(s) stole an undisclosed amount of money from a safe during a burglary at Robert's Custard, N112 W16040 Mequon Road, sometime between the evening of July 12 and 7:30 a.m. July 13. The unknown suspect(s) broke a window to gain entry, knocked out a wall between the bathroom and the office, and then used a torch to gain access to the safe.


3A man reported his credit card was stolen at The Gables, N109 W17110 Ava Circle, and was used to make a fraudulent purchase at a Citgo gas station in Milwaukee on Monday, July 7. The victim said his credit card went missing on Sunday, July 6, when the fraudulent purchase was made, and after an employee made his bed on July 7, the card was returned to his night stand. Police are following up with a possible suspect, who works at the Gables.

4The driver of a blue/gray Buick left without paying for $56 of gas at Kwik Trip, W188 N10963 Maple Road, at about 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9.

5An unknown female shoplifted $40 worth of merchandise at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., and then fled in a gray Toyota Yaris at about 8:25 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9.

6An unknown person(s) stole two scrap 27-inch bronze impellers from Furey Filter and Pump, N117 W19237 Fulton Drive, sometime between July 3 and July 10.

7The driver of an older blue Toyota pickup truck left without paying for $64 of gas at Quick Pick, N128 W21760 Holy Hill Road, at about 12:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 12. The suspect, described as a 5-foot, 9-inch-tall white male wearing a yellow baseball cap and a red shirt, was involved in a similar theft in Jackson the same day and police are investigating.

8An unknown female shoplifted a gift bag containing multiple items at World Market, N96 W18970 County Line Road, and then fled in a red Prius at about 1:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 12.

Drug possession

9An officer investigating a suspicious occupied vehicle on Catskill Lane and Traders Court arrested a man and a woman for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at about 11:10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9.

Drunken driving

10A man was arrested for drunken driving in the N104 W14900 block of Donges Bay Road at about midnight on Saturday, July 12. His preliminary blood alcohol content was unavailable.


11A boy was transported to Children's Hospital via Flight For Life after he drove an ATV into an exterior wall at Krenz & Company, W132 N10940 Eisenhower Drive, at about 4:50 p.m. on Sunday, July 13.


12A woman reported someone kicked her 2010 Mazda and damaged it while it was parked at Life Church, W164 N11325 Squire Drive, at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 12. The victim said the vandalism occurred on Saturday, July 5.

13A resident in the W147 N9900 block of Rimrock Road reported his glass basketball backboard was shattered, possibly by a gunshot, at about 5:50 p.m. on Friday, July 11.


14Multiple residents called 911 to report a vehicle on fire in the W166 N10100 block of Sante Fe Court at about 12:55 a.m. on Saturday, July 12. The vehicle, a white 2003 Ford F-250, was fully engulfed in flames when emergency personnel arrived. The fire was extinguished, but the cause of the fire and a damage estimate were unavailable at the time of the report.


15A driver called police to report the driver of a black 2012 Acura station wagon spit on him during a road rage incident on County Line and Amy Belle roads at about 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9.

16A resident in the W165 N10200 block of Wagon Trail reported an unknown person used his identification to apply for unemployment benefits at 6:35 p.m. on Friday, July 11.

17A motorcyclist and his passenger reported a woman driving a red, four-door vehicle was weaving through traffic on Pilgrim and County Line roads and almost struck their motorcycle at about 8:22 p.m. on Friday, July 11. When the driver of the motorcycle confronted the suspect about her driving, she slapped him across the face. The couple gave the license plate number of the vehicle to police and they were following up with a disorderly conduct citation at the time of the report.

18A truck driver reported two occupants in a truck pointed an unknown object at him, possibly a gun, during a road rage incident on Highway 41 and Holy Hill Road at about 2:20 p.m. on Sunday, July 13. Police located and stopped the suspect vehicle and found a .40-caliber Beretta inside a black case in the rear seat of the vehicle. However, the driver said he had his GPS in his hand, not the gun. The truck driver said he did not want to pursue charges due to the fact that he was unsure what the driver pointed at him.

19A male juvenile was cited for littering after he threw a McDonald's cup out of his car window and it struck a bicyclist on Country Aire Drive and Pioneer Road at about 7:55 p.m. on Sunday, July 13.

20A caller reported cows in the roadway on Goldendale Road south of Holy Hill Road at about 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 13. The responding officer made contact with the cattle owner, who said 14 cows got loose after fireworks were set off in the area and were now missing. The cows were located on Holy Hill Road near the Quick Pick and police assisted with traffic while the cows were escorted home.

Germantown police assisted with 17 rescue calls and two fire calls between July 7 and July 14.
