Police Report: Sept. 16

· A 30-year-old female employee was arrested for embezzlement after she stole $489 in cash and gift cards at Speedway, N87 W17245 Main St., between Aug. 24 and Sept. 3.

· An unknown man shoplifted three bottles of vodka, valued at $33 each, at Pilgrim Petro, N48 W15636 Lisbon Road, at about 2:05 p.m. Sept. 5. The suspect, a 300-pound, 6-foot-tall male with a bald head, was seen concealing the bottles in the waistband of his pants on video surveillance, and then fled in a 2004 Pontiac G6. Police are following up with the owner of the car.

· A 41-year-old Newburg man was arrested for four counts of theft (state charge), four counts of prowling and was taken into custody for having a valid warrant after he entered four unlocked vehicles and stole loose change between 3:45 and 5 a.m. Sept. 7. The suspect entered vehicles in the N55 W14100 block and the N54 W14000 blocks of Carol Drive, the N54 W14300 block of Vera Lane, the N54 W14100 block of Van Buren Drive and the N52 W14400 block of Aryshire Court. The suspect was located by police at Vera Lane and Van Buren Drive, where he admitted entering the vehicles and was taken into custody.

· An unknown female subject shoplifted about $252 of clothing by concealing them in her purse at Kohls Department Store, N95 W18000 Appleton Ave., between 1 and 1:40 p.m. Sept. 7. The suspect, described as a 180-pound, 5-foot, 6-inch tall female in her 30s with brown hair in a bun and wearing a red, strapped dress and orange flip flops, fled in an early model 2000s Ford Mustang two-door with no front bumper that was driven by an unknown male.

· Five female subjects attempted to shoplift $324 of women's and infants clothing and baby formula at Target, N95 W17707 Shady Lane, at about 3:30 p.m. Sept. 8. Some of the merchandise was abandoned in the parking lot after the suspects fled in a blue Ford Taurus. Police are following up with Target to obtain video surveillance, and the subjects have not yet been identified.

· An unknown female shoplifted 12 cans of Gerber Good Start baby formula, valued at $223, by concealing them in a large, red handbag at Target, N95 W17707 Shady Lane, and then fled in a green SUV occupied by several other unknown subjects at 1:15 p.m. Sept. 10. The same subject and vehicle returned to the store on Sept. 11 and attempted to shoplift the same formula, but was scared off by management. Police are following up with store security to obtain video surveillance.


· A 37-year-old man was arrested for battery after he punched a Menomonee Falls man in the face during an argument at a residence in the N85 W14000 block of Fond du Lac Avenue at about 4:35 p.m. Sept. 11. The victim sustained a laceration above his left eye but refused medical attention.


· A 42-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, operating after revocation, failure to install an Ignition Interlock Device and for failing to pay numerous outstanding traffic tickets after police pulled her over for being stopped in the turn lane on westbound Lisbon Road to northbound Greenview Avenue at about 2 a.m. Sept. 13. After a police search she was also arrested for possession of cocaine. Her blood alcohol content was 0.21.


· A Department of Public Works employee called police after finding seven broken cellphones and a car stereo on the south softball diamond at Willowood Park, N55 W15001 Silver Spring Drive, at 9:15 a.m. Sept. 15. The items were located in a group in the center of the softball diamond, and were placed there sometime between 8 a.m. Sept. 14 and the time of the call.

· Menomonee Falls police responded to one domestic violence call between Sept. 5 and Sept. 15.
