1A 41-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting an undisclosed amount of merchandise at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 9:05 p.m. Aug. 20.

2The rear license plate was reported stolen off a vehicle parked in the N109 W16500 block of Hawthorne Drive at 5:55 p.m. Aug. 21.

3A 20-year-old man was arrested for stealing a cellphone, a watch and $100 out of a man's vehicle while it was parked at Speedway, W164 N11233 Squire Drive, at about 7:30 a.m. Aug. 22. The suspect told police he stole the victim's cellphone and two packs of cigarettes because he loaned the victim $2,800 to buy drugs a couple months ago and the victim never paid him back.

4A resident in the W149 N9900 block of Still Water Court reported $40 was stolen from his son's birthday cards that were delivered by the U.S. Postal Service on Aug. 22. The resident found the cards ripped open in the mailbox, and the mail carrier stated the cards were intact when they were delivered.


5An 18-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana after he was seen smoking the drug in his car in the parking lot at Taco Bell, N96 W17801 County Line Road, at 1:45 a.m. Aug. 18.

6Officers responding to a report of a woman passed out in a running, black Mercedes-Benz in the parking lot at Steins Garden & Gifts, W184 N9676 Appleton Ave., and arrested a 24-year-old woman for possession of a controlled substance at 9:15 a.m. Aug. 21.

7A 52-year-old man was arrested for possession of synthetic marijuana after an employee reported a man sleeping in his vehicle on the north end of the lot at Kwik Trip, W188 N10963 Maple Road, at 7:10 p.m. Aug. 23.

8A 19-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana in the parking lot at KFC, N96 W17860 County Line Road, at 9 p.m. Aug. 24.


9A 40-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving, fourth offense, and operating after revocation after a motorist reported the driver of a green Volkswagen Golf was driving the wrong way on Appleton Avenue and County Line Road, then drove over the median and pulled into a bank parking lot at 11:30 p.m. Aug. 23. He was taken to the hospital for a legal blood draw.

10A 42-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving, fourth offense, in the W211 N11800 block of Hilltop Circle at about 6 p.m. Aug. 24. His blood alcohol content was unavailable.

11A 37-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving on U.S. Highway 41 and Freistadt Road at 12:45 a.m. Aug. 25. Her blood alcohol content was unavailable.


12A hammock was sliced in a yard in the N99 W16500 block of Rustic Lane between the late evening hours of Aug. 17 and early morning hours of Aug. 18.

13Four windows on a work bus were broken while it was parked in the W168 N12100 block of Century Lane between the morning of Aug. 17 and evening of Aug. 18.

14A resident in the N98 W16700 block of Concord Road called police to report a subject(s) was pounding on the shed in her backyard, and then fled after she yelled at them at about 2:05 a.m. Aug. 18. Officers checked the resident's shed and found no signs of attempted entry, but did find a pool had been vandalized at a neighboring home in the W167 N9900 block of Cardinal Court at about 2:30 a.m.

15A caller reported two tires were slashed on his 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix parked in the W162 N9800 block of Mayflower Drive at 1:50 p.m. Aug. 18.

16The front windshield of a 1999 Chevy S-10 Blazer was damaged while it was parked in the N114 W15300 block of Gettysburg Drive between Aug. 19 and Aug. 22.


17A 47-year-old man was arrested for drugged driving after officers received a report of a vehicle driving very slowly and stopping in traffic on Gettysburg Drive and Fond du Lac Avenue at about 10 p.m. Aug. 19.
