Police Report: Dec. 10

1A $900 GPS unit was stolen from the lobby of the Menomonee Falls Ambulatory Center, W180 N8045 Town Hall Road, between 2:45 p.m. and 3:10 p.m. Nov. 27. The owner of the GPS reported later that he found it in his vehicle.

2Eleven wiring harnesses were stolen from six semitrailer units at Bakemark USA, N92 W14401 Anthony Ave., between 6 p.m. Nov. 30 and noon Dec. 2. The green wiring harnesses, which contain aluminum and copper, are valued at $150 each.

3The driver of a maroon, 2004 Chevrolet Lumina left without paying for $44 of gas at the Citgo Convenience Store, N48 W18028 Lisbon Road, shortly after 12:30 p.m. Dec. 1.

4Three electronic tablets were stolen from Best Buy, N95 W16855 Richfield Way, before 11:30 a.m. Dec. 5. The suspect was last seen leaving the parking lot in a two-door beige, 2002 Chevy Monto Carlo. Police are following up with the owner of the vehicle.

An elderly resident in the W156 N8400 block of Pilgrim Road reported she was swindled out of $1,800 by a telephone scammer at 7:20 a.m. Dec. 6. The victim sent $1,800 to Panama via Western Union after she was told her grandson was in jail and needed the money to secure his release. A police investigation is ongoing.

5A GPS unit was stolen from a locked car parked in the N88 W14700 block of Main Street between 9 p.m. Dec. 6 and 7:45 a.m. Dec. 7. The rear driver's side passenger window was broken to gain entry.

6A handgun in a brown leather holster was stolen from the glove box of a vehicle parked in the N93 W17600 block of White Oak Circle between 7 a.m. Dec. 4 and 2:15 p.m. Dec. 7. The victim told police the vehicle and glove box were locked, but there were no signs of forced entry or damage to the vehicle or glove box.


7A 27-year-old Waukesha man was arrested for drunken driving after he was pulled over for squealing his tires while driving on Megal Drive and Tipp Street at 2:55 a.m. Dec. 1. His blood alcohol content was 0.12.

8Officers responding to a single-car accident on Menomonee Avenue and Pilgrim Road arrested a 39-year-old Germantown man for drunken driving, fifth offense, after he was found asleep in the driver's seat of his car with his keys in his ignition and engine running at 11:45 p.m. Dec. 1. The suspect was also arrested for resisting an officer after he refused to perform field sobriety tests and attempted to spit on an officer. A forced blood draw was taken, the results of which were unavailable

9A 44-year-old Menomonee Falls man was arrested for drunken driving, fifth offense, after he became intoxicated and then drove himself to the emergency room at Community Memorial Hospital, W180 N8085 Town Hall Road, at 9:40 p.m. Dec. 6. His BAC was unavailable at the time of the report.

10A 40-year-old Sussex man was arrested for drunken driving and a felony bail violation after an officer pulled him over for speeding on Appleton Avenue and Jacobson Drive and discovered he was intoxicated at 1:40 a.m. Dec. 8. His BAC was 0.15.


11Two Pepsi vending machines were vandalized at Willowood Park, N55 W15001 Silver Spring Drive, between 9:21 p.m. Dec. 5 and 10:08 p.m. Dec. 6.


12A 26-year-old Hubertus man was cited for hunting without a permit after he shot a deer on a property in the N58 W19200 block of Fox River Way at 4:25 p.m. Dec. 2.

13A 43-year-old Hartford man was arrested after an anonymous caller reported he was drinking alcohol in violation of his probation at the Old Orchard Inn, N83 W12608 Old Orchard Road, at 6:35 p.m. Dec. 4. His BAC was 0.08.


14Menomonee Falls police assisted the Menomonee Falls Fire Department at a barn fire investigation at Blue Spring Farm, W220 N9110 Town Line Road, around 3:40 p.m. Dec. 4. Officers took 114 photographs at the scene and noted three severely damaged electronic items were located inside the barn.

Menomonee Falls police assisted with one rescue call and one fire call between Nov. 27 and Dec. 8.
