Police Report: Dec. 10

1A resident in the W215 N10300 block of Laurel Court reported a package delivered by the U.S. Postal Service was stolen off her porch on Nov. 23.

2An 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl were arrested for shoplifting after the two were seen concealing speakers in the man's sweat shirt at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 5:15 p.m. Dec. 3. The man also admitted shoplifting speakers at the same store on a previous date and received a second citation.

3A snowblower was stolen from a shed in the W140 N11100 block of Country Aire Drive before 1:30 p.m. Dec. 4.

4An 18-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting merchandise at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 11:50 p.m. Dec. 4.

5Scrap metal was reported stolen from Gromax Precision Die, W185 N11474 Whitney Drive, at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 5.

6An unknown amount of items were stolen from a car parked in the N114 W16700 block of Crown Drive between the late evening hours of Dec. 6 and 7:10 a.m. Dec. 7.

7A 31-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 8:45 p.m. Dec. 7.


8A 33-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after he reportedly drove his car into a ditch to avoid striking a deer on Fond du Lac Avenue and Mequon Road shortly after 3 a.m. Dec. 7. His blood alcohol content was unavailable.


9A resident in the W147 N10900 block of Hackberry Circle reported a string of outdoor Christmas lights was cut during the evening hours of Dec. 1. The victim called police again at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 2 to report a second strand of lights was cut. An extra police watch was requested.

10The driver's side rear window of an SUV was broken while it was parked in the lot at Holiday Inn, W177 N9675 Riversbend Lane, between 4 and 5 a.m. Dec. 7.


11Officers responded to a report of a rancid smell coming from an apartment in the W155 N11300 block of Sylvan Circle shortly before 9 a.m. Dec. 3. Officers discovered the apartment resident was hoarding food, and she admitted needing help for her disorder. The apartment manager was notified and agreed to help the resident.

12A motorist called police after a driver behind him got out of his car, walked up to him and stated, "I'm going to kill you" for no reason while he was stopped on Wasaukee and Mequon roads around 7:45 a.m. Dec. 4. The suspect left in an unknown direction and no license plate information or vehicle description was given by the victim.

13A 17-year-old girl was arrested for absolute sobriety after she lost control of her car in the N136 W16800 block of Bonniwell Road shortly after 11 p.m. Dec. 8. The girl was also injured in the accident and taken to Children's Hospital for treatment.

Germantown police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with 16 rescue calls between Dec. 2 and Dec. 9.
