Menomonee Falls - Two North Middle School male students have been expelled in connection with an alleged sexual assault of a female student in a classroom, Menomonee Falls Police said Tuesday.

Police have referred the case to the Waukesha County district attorney's office and are seeking charges of second-degree sexual assault against the two 13-year-olds, Lt. Chad Mueller said.

According to police, the 14-year-old girl alleges she was grabbed and fondled numerous times in a classroom on March 24. A student told police a teacher was in the classroom at the time but she was distracted because she was on the school phone, Mueller said.

The victim and the students accused in the attack are Menomonee Falls residents, Mueller said.
